If you're new to property, this 50 questions Checklist will get you started right away asking the right questions to help you build your portfolio. I bought my first property not knowing what to ask, but since then and many properties later, I have now compiled the core set of questions you want to get started asking so you can avoid making costly mistakes.
My broker, lawyer and accountant are experts and form a part of my power team and most of the questions here are based on in-depth conversations over the years which have helped me narrow down the right mortgage lenders, identify what properties and areas to buy etc and have given me more assurance that I am making the right decision. Overall, these questions have been collated from having built-up a power team of expert contractors, advisers and builders who have helped guide me through the many pitfalls that exist in the property market.
I eventually went on to set up CityGate Property Development Ltd after being advised by my accountant about how best to structure my growing portfolio.
Personally, I'm a mum of 2 young kids, raising them whilst still building my portfolio. I’ve lived and breathed property over the past decade and what an amazing journey it’s been juggling it all! Ofcourse, every path is different and the opportunities that come to you will vary, but what is consistent is that you WILL build a sustainable and thriving portfolio.
